Modern fashion is now becoming a new trend practiced by different individuals around different parts of the African society, the new technology has brought in an advanced and more designed uniformity of look-alike outfits that become more and more expensive each day. While modern fashion continues to rise in demand, A group of young models is making a comeback with the early 70's vintage dressing code, from a bit of walk down the memory line in the early dress code of long bell-bottomed trousers, the long afro hairstyles, shorts skirts and dresses, colorful socks, long boots, and long-sleeved shirts, the young models are now reincarnating the old fashion and making it a part of the modern trend.
Growing up as a youth and friends from the same neighborhood, there has always been a challenge of the modern lifestyle where everyone tries to get what's good for them. that's why we decided to focus our interest on mostly vintage outfits, something that is not worn by many people. says a 24-year-old model and visual artist Dennis Juma. Whatever inspires us is that everyone has a different inspiration on the kind of vintage outfits they want. Mostly our personal interest is based on politicians from the early 90s, that's where we draw our outfits from. We are just trying to come up with something that can remind the modern generation about the generation that is gone and that's the values of being an African and the respect towards fashion that we need to have as Africans.
